We would like to house animals at the demonstration farm to sell their products and help families in the community. This fund raising goal will go towards clearing the land, and building pens for the animals.

We plan to initially purchase 2 cows, 10 chickens, and 5 rabbits, with enough initial food to feed them until they become self-sustaining so that additional food can be purchased using the proceeds from the animals.

Having animals on the farm is additionally a great supply of manure, which is used in conjunction with biochar to supply and keep nutrients in the soil for farming.
